It's march!! And I've been away to long.

Howdy friends. Well, actually...i am curious if any of my friends still use deviantart, or if they have forgotten about me. At any rate, if you are still on here, i just wanted to say that I'm back online. I'm once again playing around with my camera. I've been...distracted for a bit. I'm planning on taking quite a few more pictures in the coming days, weeks, and months, and will post em on here.

June 2-6, I'm planning a trip to Cancun! I've never seen a beach before, and with such an interesting place, I plan on taking hundreds of pictures. I have so many things i want to photograph, and though my partner probably thinks i'll take the typical scenic shots, I have some ideas brewing in my head. For instance...i want to photograph some sea glass, and sea shells on the sea shore...say that three times fast. I want to take pictures of baby turtles, or of the tracks in the sand. I want to take close up pictures of the surf as it comes in.

If you are still out there, and still have that interest in photography that I do, please gimme a shout. I promise I'll reply. :)

Thanks sooo much! :) I'm just learning this photo thing, and giving in to the addiction which is photography. I find that it is tough sometimes as the addiction takes over, and next thing I know I take a bazillion pictures, when I really should just try focusing my attention on finding a couple of special shots. Though, I also realize then that the things I capture with my camera, they all have meaning or value to me. From a little bug, to a sunrise. I soooo am needing lessons though, and that's why I'm here. Learning from everyone elses work, and soaking up advice and compliments as I go. I sure do appreciate the compliments too! :) Thanks for checking out my gallery. :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Haha...i know what you mean. Well, the midwest isn't so bad. Such pretty things. I often tease though and say that that I live in the toilet bowl of the midwest, and that it has it's own gravitational pull. But, the truth of the matter is, the pull is to the natural simplistic beauty of things. I often think of moving away, yet the idea of what I would miss always brings me back to the thought that this is home.
