illusion of stone and water?

Ok, while at this falls park in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, I saw these outcroppings of stone. I thought this one in particular was very pretty, though even with the camera I don't think I was able to capture the beauty of it. I did however capture something interesting with this photo. For some reason, to me at least, it almost has the feeling as if is a stone outcropping over water, and that the water is very highly reflective, reflecting the image of the wall. Or, maybe it is just how my eye percieves it. Anyways, there is no water in this except for the snow. Okeee...i'm thinking I need to step away from the hippie lettuce?
